When results and your draft disagree
Understand stale results, partial Quality Checks, missing findings, and highlights that cannot be placed on one passage.
Quality Check and Persona Reaction describe the saved version they read. Their findings are not a new evaluation of later edits.
Results from an older version
After you edit, the panel says Results are from the previous version. and the old highlights dim. A highlight stays on its original message when its quoted wording still has one clear match, including after reopening the result or reordering the sequence. The result should still be read against the saved text from that run.
Copy all feedback also uses that saved version. Revise using feedback is available only when the result belongs to Current. If the draft changes while you are revising it in another assistant, unpitch refuses to apply that reply over newer text. Run a fresh test before starting another revision.
For Quality Check, Re-run checks the current saved draft at the price shown. For Persona Reaction, Re-run starts a new 40-credit run when the original persona is still available to the panel. Otherwise, return to persona selection and choose an available persona.
A Quality Check read only part of the draft
When a Quality Check stops early, its coverage note says how far it got. A clean headline changes to Clean in what was read because the check cannot make a claim about the rest.
The same limit applies to Checked and clear. Those factors were clear only in the portion that was read.
The panel offers another run and says it may reach further. That is a new check, so it can also return a different set of findings.
Part of a Quality Check result was lost
Part of the read was lost is a different state. The reader produced observations that unpitch could not record, so the visible result is incomplete even if the draft itself was covered.
The panel reports how many observations were lost and offers a new run. Do not treat an absent finding or clear factor as proof about the missing part.
A finding has no highlight
A finding can remain useful without an inline mark. Common reasons are:
- the same wording appears more than once in its original message, so unpitch will not guess which copy was meant;
- the finding concerns the message as a whole; or
- the quoted wording or its original message was removed; or
- the original message cannot be identified safely.
Open the finding from the panel and compare it with the saved version. If a Quality Check has more than twenty findings, also open the more findings row; highlights can belong to findings inside it.

Open document history to read a result beside the snapshot it belongs to. History is read-only, but you can inspect and copy saved feedback there. Use Use as current if you want to restore that text before starting another run.
