What the run statuses mean
Tell a queued or running test from a finished result, a failed run, or a result that only needs to be loaded again.
Quality Check and Persona Reaction can both continue after you leave the document. Read the current state before pressing Run or Simulate again.
Queued
Queued means the run was created and is waiting to start. The draft has not been read yet.
You can leave the page. Reloading the same document URL reconnects to the run that is already waiting.
Running
Quality Check shows findings as they arrive and keeps the editor available. Any edits you make belong to the current draft; the run continues against the saved version it started with.
Persona Reaction shows its current phase and pauses editing until the run finishes. It does not show a provisional reaction.
Leaving the page does not cancel either run. Return through the same document URL to keep following it.
Finished, but still loading
A run can finish before its result reaches the panel.
- Check complete with View results means the Quality Check result is saved. The button tries to load it again.
- Simulation complete with Try again means the Persona Reaction result is saved. The button fetches the same result rather than starting another run.
These states are different from a failed run. Do not start a new test just because the saved result did not load on the first attempt.
Failed
Treat a run as failed only when its own card says so.
- Quality Check didn’t finish says no result was saved and the failed job was not charged.
- That simulation didn’t finish says the previous hold was released. If it offers Try again, that action starts a new 40-credit Simulation.
This is why two buttons with the same label can have different consequences: read the card above the button first.
If progress appears stuck
Look for movement rather than enforcing your own timeout. Quality Check can keep adding findings; Persona Reaction can move to another phase.
If nothing changes, reload the same page before starting another run. A reload lets unpitch look for the run already in progress. If the panel then shows a specific failure or lost-run message, follow that recovery.
