Included work and credits

Tell before you press Run whether a Quality Check is included in your plan or costs credits, and know what a Simulation costs every time.

Two meters sit side by side on the Billing tab and they are deliberately not the same thing. Included Quality Checks counts runs. AI credits is money-like and pays for everything past that count. Knowing which one a click will touch takes one glance.

Reading the Included Quality Checks card

The card gives you two numbers.

The first is followed by left this month, resetting and a date: how much of the monthly allowance is unspent. The second is followed by can run right now: how many included checks you can actually start at this moment.

Those two can differ a lot, and that is expected. The allowance has two windows running at once, a monthly one and a shorter rolling one, and a check is included only while both still have room. When you have run several checks in quick succession, can run right now drops while left this month barely moves. The rolling window slides, so waiting a while restores it without anything being spent.

Every reset time on this card and in the Run tooltip is stated in UTC, not your local time zone. If your reset looks like it lands on the wrong day, this is usually why.

Telling the price before you press Run

You do not have to open Billing to find out. The Quality Check panel in a document prices the click under the Run button.

  • Caption Included in your plan — this check costs nothing and does not touch your credit balance.
  • Caption 2 credits — the included allowance is used up, so this check spends credits. Its tooltip reads Included checks reset followed by the UTC time when the allowance comes back.

The Billing tab says the same thing once the allowance runs out, adding a line to the Included Quality Checks card: Until the reset time a check costs 2 credits.

When the card is missing

If the allowance cannot be read, the whole Included Quality Checks card is left off the Billing tab rather than showing a guess. The AI credits card is unaffected. Reload the page; if the card is still absent, the price shown under the Run button in a document is the authority for what your next check costs.

Simulations always cost credits

A Persona Simulation costs 10 credits every time. There is no included allowance for it the way Quality Checks have one, and no free first run.

If the balance cannot cover it, the run is refused before it starts with Not enough credits and the message This simulation needs 10 credits. Open Billing to review the balance or ask your organization owner for help. The Open billing in new tab link on that panel opens Billing in a new tab so your draft is not torn down while you sort the balance out.

The short version

What you are startingWhat it costs
Quality Check, allowance remainingNothing. Caption reads Included in your plan
Quality Check, allowance used up2 credits until the UTC reset
Persona Simulation10 credits, every run

If you are on Free, your monthly budget is 30 credits, or 60 in your first month, which carries a one-time welcome grant. Either way the difference between an included check and a paid one matters more there than anywhere else.
