Run your first Simulation

A Persona Reaction models how one saved buyer Persona responds to the saved version of your draft. The result shows what the reader might do and why, what helped, what caused friction, and how they read the message line by line. A cold-contact result also includes a Reaction score for the complete simulated reaction. It is not a real or qualified reply.

Open a document and choose Persona Reaction under Test before you send. The same panel also contains Quality Check and Conversion Forecast, but Persona Reaction is the single-reader test.

New Persona Reactions support cold email, cold email sequence, LinkedIn message, and LinkedIn sequence drafts. Posts and articles cannot start a new read.

Choose a persona from Saved personas. If you do not have the right one yet, choose Create a persona. Persona creation opens on its own screen and keeps a route back to this draft.

One run uses one persona. A different persona has its own saved-result identity.

Set the reading conditionsCopy Anchor Link

On the selected persona, use Connection with you. Cold contact is ready to run without extra setup. For a warm audience, choose Knows our brand, We’ve interacted, Current customer, or Bought before. Choose Not sure when the relationship is unknown. Changing this choice does not open a form.

Open Add details for optional context, interactions between steps, and your personal default. Context note lets you supply a short note. Missing facts stay unknown: a company purchase does not prove this recipient used the product, and a past purchase does not establish satisfaction or a current need. The note belongs to this test’s reader, not the message.

Interaction between steps optionally adds an Actual reply or Hypothetical reply before a later sequence step. Paste a reply only when you choose that scenario. Ordinary planned follow-ups assume no reply; this is a test assumption. Accepting a LinkedIn connection is separate from a written reply or buying interest.

Open About connection with you for the reading assumptions and the result you’ll get. For cold contact, actual need and timing are unknown; the test assumes a relevant need and openness to consider. Warm, unknown, and supplied-history reads provide a reaction and reasons without a numeric score; need and openness are not inferred from the relationship.

Remember for me saves only your relationship and general note for this persona, workspace, and sender. It does not change teammates’ settings. Reply scenarios remain specific to this sequence. Editing a saved default is a one-off change until you choose Update my default; Reset restores it. If your sender details change, review the default before reusing it.

Before you start, make sure:

• the organization's plan includes Persona Reaction. Lite is the lowest plan that includes Persona Reaction; Free does not;
• the draft contains text;
• the persona fits the audience you want to test;
• the organization has enough credits for the run; and
• a sequence has no more than five nonempty message steps.

A Simulation costs 40 credits per run, whichever Connection with you you choose. This is separate from any cost shown while creating a persona.

Choose Simulate. Unpitch saves the current draft and freezes that version with the selected persona and reader context. The page keeps a link to the run so you can return later.

The panel shows the run's progress. During this time, the draft remains visible but cannot be edited. The running view does not show a provisional reaction, score, or verdict.

The estimate beside the button is about one to two minutes. You can leave the page and return to the run later.

When unpitch can reuse an exact completed result for the same frozen version, persona, and reading conditions, choosing Simulate reopens it without another charge. Otherwise, the action starts a new 40-credit run.

If the run is refusedCopy Anchor Link

Read the card before pressing anything again. It tells you what needs to change.

• If the card says Simulation isn't available right now, no new run can start at the moment. Keep the draft and the reader, and try again later.
• If the sequence is too long, shorten it to five nonempty steps or fewer.
• If credits or billing block the run, open Billing or ask the organization owner for help.
• If the price changed, review the current 40-credit price before choosing Simulate again.
• If the app could not confirm whether the run started, keep the draft and persona unchanged and use the offered retry. Changing either can turn it into a new 40-credit run.
