Version history
Look back through the frozen copies of a draft that unpitch saved for you, and bring an earlier wording back into the document you are editing.
Use History to read a frozen copy of a draft and copy it back into the editable document.
When a version is frozen
Autosave updates one live draft. It does not create a stack of versions. A test freezes the exact draft it reads, and that snapshot becomes available in History. Apply revision also preserves the outgoing Current before replacing it.
The History button appears after the document has at least one snapshot. There is no separate manual control for saving one.
Right after the first test, History may show only Current. A snapshot identical to Current is hidden to avoid showing the same text twice; it appears after Current changes.
Reading the version list
Current is the editable draft. Each older row shows its version number and a short date. Select one to read it; hover or focus it for the full timestamp and the reader's full name. The magnifying glass with a check sits beside each Quality Check score, and the person icon sits beside each Persona Reaction score. Blank cells mean no score is available. If older rows fail to load, choose Retry at the bottom of the list.
Under each Persona Reaction score is the name of the reader who produced it, followed by Quick reader when the run used one. Reader changed marks a row whose reader differs from the next older row with a Persona Reaction score: a different Persona, a quick reader on one row and a Persona on the other, or two quick readers with different names. Those two scores are not comparable. A row without the mark is not a promise that the same reader read both versions. For example, two quick readers with the same name are not marked, because unpitch cannot tell them apart.
Scoring changed marks a row whose Persona Reaction score used a different scoring method than the next older row with a score. Compare versions only when the Persona, reading conditions, and scoring method match; otherwise, part of the difference may come from those changes rather than your edits.
Looking at a frozen version
A frozen version is read-only. Choose Current, press Esc, click outside History, or press History again to return to the editable draft.
Bringing an earlier version back
Choose Use as current on a frozen version to copy its text into Current. The outgoing Current is saved as another version, and the version you selected remains in the list.
After the copy, Previous current saved appears with an Undo action.
Undo disappears after the first local edit. The draft it replaced remains in History even after the temporary action is gone.
If the copy fails, retry from the message beside the button. The page may reload when it cannot confirm which draft is current; check Current before editing again.
Results and the version they came from
A result belongs to the snapshot the test read. After you edit Current, the old result remains readable but is marked as coming from a previous version. Run the test again when you need feedback on the new wording.
